In July of 2023, Dr. Albert traveled to Kigali, Rwanda with the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons to teach the attending surgeons, residents, and fellows the latest techniques in closed rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction. Part of the time was spent in the lecture hall as Dr. Albert gave four presentations and the other part of his time was spent teaching while operating on Rwandan patients with complex nasal airway concerns.

Dr. Albert has participated in plastic surgical mission trips to both Ecuador and Peru. These trips focused on the treatment of cleft lip and palate as well as additional craniofacial deformities, burn deformities, congenital hand anomalies, and other debilitating conditions.
